Odds for this type of matchup would be something to the effect of, Carl Edwards -115 Vs Matt Kenseth -115 (for example at michigan). The -115 odds means you must risk $115 to win $100. The $15 difference here is the juice that the bookie takes for the service of taking the bet. If the line changes and Matt Kenseth becomes the bigger favourite (say after good practice speeds) then his odds would shift to -125 or more and Edwards' odds would shift to -105. Because the bookie thinks Matt Kenseth now has a greater chance at beating Carl Edwards he moves the line to reflect probability. You can find matchup bets for the race and qualifying at most offshore books.

Speedrows, bookies will throw together 4 or 5 drivers in a group with odds ranging from -150 to +1200 or more either way. You must pick the winner of that group. Usually tempting at first but odds offered on these types of bets are usually quite tight.
